Program Details
We start with a friendly chat to get to know each other and share what you're looking to gain from this experience. We will prepare for you one of our signature aperitifs.
Then expect a drive of 45-75 minutes (depending on our pick locations: Charlotte, Lake Norman, Winston Salem, Greensboro or Wilkesboro) to the finest vineyards. During our ride, you can listen to music, chat or enjoy the scenic ride.
At the first vineyard, relish in a delicious North Carolina grown wine, accompanied by curated charcuterie bites. Spend an hour here savoring the sights and flavors and of course enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The second vineyard is where you will have a plated style picnic lunch and prepare to enjoy 1 shared bottle of NC signature wine for up to 3 people. Time to relax, laugh, and make memories.
The final vineyard offers a full wine tasting experience, featuring 6-10 different varieties of NC wine. You'll have about an hour to indulge in the tastings, learn about the vineyard and their wines and you will have an opportunity to flavor a curated selection of fine chocolates to pair with your wine.
The Grape Experience could change the order of the itinerary if we feel the experience could be elevated.
This experience concludes with departure from the vineyard at 4 pm, with a return journey of approximately 60-70 minutes to the original meeting location.

Our private Three Vineyard Picnic Experience offers a personalized experience designed specifically for you and your guests. We take into account your interests, wine preferences, and requests to create a unique itinerary and picnic setting. With our expertise and partnership with some of the Yadkin Valley's top vineyards, we can fulfill any special requests you may have, ensuring that your day out is perfect in every way. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, which sets us apart and makes your experience exceptional.
All of our picnic experiences are private and require a minimum of 2 people.
Two-people experiences will require to pay a premium.

Our tour will begin at 10am and last until 5pm. We can't wait to spend the day with you!
We will meet at 10am.
The location of your choice. The entire group should be ready for pickup at the pickup location.
We provide 1 bottle for 2-3 people, 2 bottles for 4-6 people, and 3 bottles for 7-10 people. If your group is larger, please contact us and we will provide you with more information.

We provide small, curated charcuterie bites, fresh fruit, and an artisan-style picnic lunch. We also provide French macarons.

That is weather-dependent as our picnic experiences run year-round. Our recommendations are:
- Comfortable shoes or sneakers and fresh clothing during spring and summer.
- Layers and boots during the winter months.

We always proceed with our experiences unless there is an immediate threat posed by adverse weather conditions. If it rains, we furnish our guests with umbrellas and arrange for an indoor venue to ensure that you have a pleasant experience regardless of the weather.
- If you cancel 14 days prior to your experience: 100% full refund.
- If you cancel less than 14 days and up to 72 hours prior to your experience: no refund, however we will be happy to reschedule your experience based on availability.
- If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to your experience: no refund.
NOTE: A minimum of 2 participants is required for your picnic . If only 1 person is booked for the picnic, The Grape Experience will contact the client to reschedule or refund the total amount.
